Dr. Ali Al-Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, issued Ministerial Resolution No. 181 of 2022 regarding the formation of a management committee for the project to support goldsmiths’ factories and workshops, and the terms of reference of the committee
Headed by Major General A. H. / Ahmed Mahmoud Suleiman, Head of the Stamping and Weights Authority, and the committee included the membership of Engineer Hani Milad Gayed, Head of the General Division for Gold and Jewelry in the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce
It is concerned with determining the conditions for selection and evaluation of the factories applying for the funding decided by the Small and Micro Enterprises Development Agency to support jewelry factories and workshops, and choosing the most suitable 25 projects from the applicants to benefit from the financing.
Preparing a list of the names of gold dealers who are nominated to supply the ore in preparation for the issuance of instruments for financing checks in their favor, from the names listed with the Department of Stamps and Weights,
