Ibrahim Al-Arabi, head of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, said that the exhibition, in its first version, will be launched from the 19th to the 21st of this month, with the participation of 30 major Egyptian companies in the fields of production and designing gold works to present the Egyptian production in its latest form on the international market, pointing out that the Egyptian products from Goldsmiths have witnessed a great development in terms of designs and quality to compete with international products in this field.
He explained that the launch of the first edition of the exhibition and conference is a new step on the path of partnership between the Egyptian government and the private sector to achieve real development of the national economy, as the Egyptian government has taken, over the past two years, a set of steps in partnership with the private sector to establish a strong base for the production of raw gold and bullion on Egyptian soil The most important of these was the establishment of the new city of gold as a pivotal step towards developing the goldware industry, in addition to the establishment of the first gold refinery on the land of Egypt to purify gold ore and adopt the international seal not only for the production of Egyptian mines, but to purify and adopt the ore that is produced in the Middle East and Africa as an alternative to market refineries All this in conjunction with the establishment of the first applied technology school specialized in the manufacture of jewelry and jewelry.
For his part, Eng. Hani Milad, Head of the General Division for Gold in the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, said that the conference scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the exhibition will discuss many important issues related to the production of goldsmiths and the development of the internal and export trade system for Egyptian goldsmiths, in addition to discussing legislation stimulating the production of gold jewelry, allowing Egypt to transform into a center Regional goldsmiths trade and competition in global markets in one of the most important sectors of global trade.

He pointed out that with the launch of the first edition of the exhibition, preparations are underway for the second edition, which will be launched next year to achieve a broader participation of Egyptian companies, as it will witness the participation of international exhibitors to allow foreign companies to display their products.
