The General Division for Gold and Jewelry of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce will launch the second edition of the international exhibition “NEBU” for gold and jewelry next week, with the participation of 35 international exhibitors from various international markets and more than 500 buyers from the markets of the Middle East and Africa. It is scheduled to open next Saturday, December 10th. Its activities will last for three days, and the current version will be launched under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Ministers of Supply, Internal Trade, Trade and Industry, the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and the General Division of Gold and Gold Artifacts in the Federation of Chambers of Commerce.
Hani Milad Gaied , head of the General Division for Gold and Jewelry at the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, says that the division has succeeded in motivating all international institutions that produce jewelry to participate, which is an important opportunity to get acquainted with the latest international and Egyptian lines and trends in design and the latest production technologies in front of the Egyptian industry and jewelry trade community. This international participation also confirms the continued development of the Egyptian product in terms of quality and quality within the framework of the stages of developing Egyptian gold products to reach conformity with the latest international standards and create export opportunities for Egyptian jewelry and gold products and compete in international markets.
He added that the participation of the Egyptian product and the foreign product under one roof is the most important means of encouraging this important economic sector to grow rapidly in order to achieve the desired dream of transforming Egypt into an international center for the manufacture and trade of gold and jewelry.
Milad praised the unprecedented government cooperation and support, which rightly established the foundations for building the new republic under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.
Milad added that many new activities have been added on the sidelines of the new edition of the exhibition, where ten winners of the jewelery design competition will be announced in partnership with the International Designer Azza Fahmy School. A day has also been allocated for direct sales to the public, with many offers and discounts being presented.
Milad thanked Dr. Ali Al-Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, who spared no effort to achieve integration and cooperation with the private sector, and Dr. Muhammad Maait, Minister of Finance, for his contribution to opening files, discussing all issues, and creating a fair tax climate for the development of the local jewelry industry and trade.
